The Planets tie was given to my 10 year old grandson a week ago. He could not tie his own tie, but because he loves this tie so much he has learnt to tie his tie and is going to show us when we call on FaceTime this weekend. He absolutely loves his first tie and wears it most days during half term at dinner.
I can’t wait for my eldest grandson (12) to open his ‘Structure of the Atom” tie on his birthday next week. It is already on their mantelpiece awaiting his birthday.
The most exciting tie, and which the wonderful salesman on the end of phone helped me with is the boys’ dinosaur tie. Unfortunately I will have to wait until Christmas until my youngest grandson (8) gets the pleasure of his tie. The excellent advice I received on the phone was that the salesman was a little concerned that the guitar tie I had chosen for my eight year old would be too big and by chance ‘I have a boys dinosaur tie. Would that be suitable”. My 8 year old knows every dinosaur that roamed so this will be my most exciting present to give this year. I immediately placed my order for three ties over the telephone. The next day a parcel arrived.
